New Order Interpretation

Author: (Chinese) Liu Xiang
Publisher:
Publication Date: 2001-01-01
Features: The Annotation is based on Song Dynasty editions, extensively collating various fine manuscripts, incorporating and correcting previous scholars' annotations, and cross-referencing them with original materials, encyclopedias, and miscellaneous records. Additionally, it provides comprehensive annotations for the characters, history, institutional regulations, geographical names, and other terms mentioned in the text. The following work has been done in this:
1. The manuscript adopts sentence and punctuation marks, with interlinear dots added. Annotations within the text are marked in double lines, and this format reflects modern printing conditions. Therefore, Zhongxing Press's printed version has removed the interlinear dots and continued to use single lines for annotations, now represented in parentheses.
2. Numerous errors in the printed version and obvious typographical mistakes or omissions in the manuscript have been corrected.
3. The ancient characters used in the original text not only make reading difficult for readers but also do not suit modern printing conditions.
4. At the end of each volume in the original manuscript, there are the four characters "Zhao Lin Jiao Zi," and occasionally, Zhao Lin's supplementary annotations or textual criticisms are also included in the annotations.
