Features: The Tongzhi Tiaoge is not only a very important legal text of the Yuan Dynasty but also includes a wealth of historical materials related to Yuan Dynasty politics and the socio-economy, making it highly valuable. The former Beiping Library published a photolithographic edition of the incomplete manuscript in 1930 based on its old Ming Dynasty inked-edge copy, which is the only existing version. In recent years, based on this manuscript as the base, two works have been published: the Tongzhi Tiaoge Research, Translation, and Annotations edited by the two professors from Japan, Kōjiro Kobayashi and Keiji Okamoto, and the annotated edition of the Tongzhi Tiaoge by Professor Huang Shijian of China.
