Features: Dumping is not necessarily "unfair," but it is at least a questionable form of competition. People are increasingly recognizing that competition can be misused, leading to a surge in research on the general issue of unfair competition. Until 1914, most of the extensive literature focused only on competition standards in domestic trade. Broadly speaking, such practices in international competition only attract serious attention when competition intensifies. There has been extensive discussion about Germany's obvious unfair and predatory methods during the war to gain world trade and industrial dominance. It helps raise and maintain public attention on the general issues of competition standards in international trade. In recent years, some countries have been working to seek legal means to restrict the use of certain more likely to attract opposition competitive methods in international trade. However, from both an economic and legal perspective, there has yet to be a comprehensive and systematic study on this issue. This book examines dumping as an international competitive method, its economic significance for both the dumping and the victimized countries, as well as the measures taken domestically and internationally to restrict dumping. It is hoped that this book will lay the groundwork for a broader research field on competition standards in international trade.
