Author: Peter Chen Weizhen Zhou Qingmin

Publish Date: 1991-09-01
Features: This book primarily focuses on the Roman Catholic Church in Britain, chronicling over a hundred years of history from Augustine's appointment to preach in Britain until the Roman Catholic Church achieved successive victories in various countries. The book consists of five volumes, as pointed out by Professor King in the preface to the English translation, mainly divided according to major events in the church. The political history of seven countries is described in simpler terms. As for the social conditions of this period, the authors did not pay much attention, merely hinting at some information in between the lines.
