Metaphysical logic and ontological nihilism

Features: This book argues that one of the reasons for many major disasters in the contemporary world is that ethical thinking fails to help people judge moral right and wrong. As wise philosophers of the era, they often fail to make correct judgments about the moral insights of politics and history, and instead mislead the public. Moreover, after events have passed, they do not reflect on their actions but rather resort to false pretenses. Neither technology nor religion can directly enhance people's ethical cognition and moral abilities; only ethics can fulfill this task. The author analyzes modern Western ethical thought, from Kant to Hegel, Lysenko, and other contemporary philosophers, as well as the ethical dimensions of the psychoanalytic movement. He advocates combining Chinese and Western ethical thought to create a new framework for the development of ethics.
