Features: This book adopts an inverse sorting method. The term "inverse sorting" refers to arranging vocabulary based on the last letter of each word. There are two advantages to this approach: , it can avoid the illusion caused by conventional alphabetical order, making word identification and memorization more accurate. In inverse memorization sorting, words with the same root or derivatives are arranged in a disordered sequence. The words in the previous arrangement are semantically unrelated, and readers cannot expect to guess the meaning of subsequent words with the same root or derivatives just by recognizing one word. Instead, they must learn and memorize each word individually. This prevents the pitfalls of inferring meanings based on appearance or making assumptions about word meanings, thereby achieving accurate memorization. Second, it can utilize the rhythmic effect of identical ending sounds to aid memorization. When the last letter of a word is the same, the pronunciation of that letter is also generally similar. In inverse sorting, words with the same ending are grouped together, and when read aloud, they produce identical ending sounds, much like rhyming poetry. Rhyming poetry is easier to remember, and English words arranged in rhythm are more catchy, naturally facilitating memorization. The purpose of compiling this inverse memorization manual is not to require readers to adopt an inverse method for future vocabulary memorization, but rather to use this manual as a tool to test the accuracy of their vocabulary memorization based on past conventional alphabetical learning. During this testing process, readers can both review vocabulary and correct potential errors in their memorization.
