One-day Tour to Guilin City - Visit Ludi Cave
Ludi Cave is located on the western slope of Guangming Mountain in Guilin City, 27 meters above water level. It is named after the reeds that grew nearby, which were used to make flutes. The cave is 240 meters deep, with the widest section reaching 93 meters. The tour route is approximately 500 meters, winding and, with scenery changing as you walk. Inside the cave, there are numerous natural stone stalactites forming various landscapes, dazzling, diverse, exquisitely crafted, magnificent, and magical, earning it the reputation of "Nature's Palace of Art."
The cave also preserves a large number of inscriptions on the walls. After record and organization, there are 83 inscriptions in total, with only 77 remaining today. The earliest dates back to 792 AD (the eighth year of the Zhenyuan era during the Tang Dynasty). These inscriptions not only provide valuable materials for studying the social and historical context of that time but also add a rich historical and cultural flavor to Ludi Cave.
