Features: There are many versions of the book "Three Hundred Poems from the Tang Dynasty," and the number of poems included varies in different versions. This book is based on the "Three Hundred Poems from the Tang Dynasty with Annotations and Explanations" published by the Shaanxi Provincial Library in the Daoguang Dingwei year of the Qing Dynasty. This version includes a total of 321 Tang poems, 11 more than the commonly used versions, making it the one with the most poems among all the versions. "Three Hundred Poems from the Tang Dynasty" selects over 310 Tang poems, following the naming convention of "Three Hundred Poems," which carries both the deep meaning of inheriting the tradition of the "Book of Songs" and the attitude of selecting the best and most comprehensive works of Tang poetry. The book is divided into eight volumes, categorized into six types of poetry: five-character ancient verse, seven-character ancient verse, five-character regulated verse, seven-character regulated verse, five-character quatrains, and seven-character quatrains, with the Yuefu poems appended after each category, covering all styles of Tang poetry. The selected Tang poems not only include the works of great masters representing the grandeur of the Tang Dynasty but also take into account the representative works of famous poets from the early, middle, and late Tang Dynasty. At the same time, it does not overlook the masterpieces of lesser-known poets, truly achieving the goal of compiling the best and most outstanding works.
