Highlight 1: Rich and Practical. The Dictionary provides a complete, detailed, and clear introduction to the basic information of the included writers, from major representative works and awards to the conversion between the lunar and Gregorian calendars.
Highlight 2: Accurate and Credible. The entries are based on first-hand materials, and over half of them have been reviewed and corrected by the writers themselves. During the revision period, the editors contacted over 400 writers and exchanged over 2,000 letters.
Highlight 3: Strong Revision and Correction. Compared to the previous edition, the revised version adds 177 new writers (totaling 811), and most entries have been revised and supplemented to varying degrees, with some rewritten. The total word count has increased from 500,000 to 900,000.

The purpose of this book is to introduce the basic information about writers and their works, provide relevant historical materials for reference, and avoid subjective commentary and evaluation.
