Features: Chinese special police instructor Huang Peilin has completed his overseas teaching mission and is granted leave to return home for marriage. Upon returning to his homeland, he is met with the mysterious disappearance of his lover Rong Yujun and the unexpected death of his father, Huang Zongfu. The Public Security Bureau establishes a special task force for the "Huang Case," and Huang Peilin feigns demobilization to cooperate with the police in the investigation. During this time, murders and criminal cases occur one after another: a lawyer named Gu Zhong is murdered on the street; Song Yaoyao, an employee of the Central Finance Group, and Chief Counsel Zhang Hongliang are successively killed, while Huang Peilin is also hunted down by the Macau professional assassin Black Fox, facing constant danger. The novel features vivid storytelling, suspenseful twists, and an engaging plot. This is just the first in the author's detective mystery series. Following this, the second and third installments will be released. Additionally, a 20-episode television drama series adapted from this book will be broadcast nationwide in sequence.
