The name of Dale Carnegie has become world-renowned, to the extent that the American magazine Time, which has sold globally, bestowed upon him high praise: "Perhaps, apart from Lady Liberty, he is the symbol of America." However, Carnegie did not solve the profound mysteries of the universe. Yet he used human "wisdom" to discover the secrets to improving human quality of life and cultivating high life standards. Influenced by his philosophical teachings and practical applications, he has benefited countless people. These principles, as ancient as civilization itself and as simple as the Ten Commandments, help people learn how to conduct themselves, build self-esteem, self-love, courage, and confidence. They assist in overcoming human weaknesses, harnessing human strengths, and unlocking potential intelligence, thereby achieving success in career and happiness in life. Carnegie pioneered the wisdom of adult education—the forerunner of successology. Carnegie's adult education philosophy and motivational successology are indeed the fruits of human civilization's progress. When we read Carnegie's works, we not only broaden our horizons but also gain invaluable inspiration and lessons.
