Features: In the early days of the liberation, in the Shanshan Mountains area in the western part of Guangxi, bandit leader Li Hanguang and his wife Li Yuegui led a stubborn band of bandits, causing disturbances everywhere. Based on the testimony of the captured vice commander of the bandits, our army's intelligence chief Zeng Tai impersonated a vice commander who had just crossed the border from abroad and infiltrated the bandit stronghold. Due to the delay in the scheduled meeting date, Li Yuegui suspected Li Hanguang and had her spy group leader posing as a captured People's Liberation Army soldier, asking Zeng Tai to interrogate him. Zeng Tai exposed the enemy's trick, killed the fake prisoner, and passed the (first test). Soon after, Li Yuegui sent Zeng Tai to lead a group of bandits to the Shahexu area, where our army was conducting land reform pilot experiments, to cause disturbances. Zeng Tai devised a method that would not arouse the enemy's suspicion while also avoiding losses for the people, and passed the (second test) through liaison officer Old Hunter.
