Features: Since the implementation of the new curriculum in junior high school graduation and high school enrollment in 2004, more and more regions in China have adopted exam papers aligned with the curriculum standards. In 2007, over 20 provinces will fully implement the new junior high school entrance exam. Even in non-experiment areas, the exam papers will place greater emphasis on reflecting the new curriculum philosophy. Therefore, it has become essential for candidates in the 2007 cohort to gain a deeper understanding of the examination methods in curriculum reform pilot areas, familiarize themselves with the question-setting approach, and experience the exam papers from various pilot areas. To meet the urgent needs of candidates, Beijing Tianli Examination Information Network, in collaboration with the National Association for Educational Research, has invited senior and advanced-level teachers working at the frontline of education to comprehensively revise this series of books, New Three Years of Junior High School Entrance Exam Question Classification and Analysis. This book compiles the past three years' junior high school entrance exam papers from various regions into classified exercises, complete with detailed answer explanations. The thematic settings cover key knowledge points and examination points across all subjects, while the exercise questions are designed to accommodate different question formats and assessment methods, with particular attention paid to reflecting the new curriculum philosophy. The aim is to guide candidates to extensively engage with various types of questions, analyze question formats, examination focuses, question-setting patterns, and answer strategies and techniques. This series includes six sub-books: Chinese, Mathematics, English, Physics, Chemistry, and Politics. The main content of each subject book includes:
1. Question Classification: Typical junior high school entrance exam questions from the past three years are classified according to subject characteristics, examination requirements, thematic content, and question types. Several themes are set, with each theme further divided into 2–3 small exercises of varying difficulty levels to meet the needs of self-assessment or in-class and self-study practice. These exercises progress in difficulty and skill requirements, with selections focusing on the assessment requirements of the new curriculum standards and the latest question-setting trends, enabling candidates to conduct targeted training after gaining a broad overview of the questions and rapidly improving their problem-solving skills.
2. Exam Strategies: Each thematic section includes an "Exam Strategies" column, where frontline teachers provide guidance on review methods for the key points, difficult points, and common pitfalls of each theme. This helps candidates grasp the key points, master the difficult points, and avoid common mistakes, achieving better revision results through practice.
3. Answer Explanations: All included questions are thoroughly analyzed and commented on, helping candidates better master answer techniques, identify gaps, and apply knowledge to similar problems.
