However, the true world wars, that is, wars with a global impact on the lives of all of humanity and that involve the entire world, were products of the 20th century, the result of the world forming an interconnected whole. When capitalism developed highly productive forces and capital spread globally in the early 20th century, the competition and struggle between powers inevitably affected the entire world, and the war that arose from the pursuit of hegemony, the struggle for interests, and the division of global resources and markets also easily developed into a world war. The victory in World War II was the common victory of the anti-fascist forces worldwide. World War II changed the world. After the devastation of two world wars, the world's people deeply felt the preciousness of science and technology, and the ability to restrain world wars was greatly improved. First, World War II awakened the world's people on an unprecedented scale, and the forces of peace grew immensely, making peace an unstoppable trend. Second, the Bretton Woods system established at the time of the war's victory deepened economic ties between countries and created conditions for the future globalization of the economy. Third, the advanced military science and technology developed during the war not only pushed all-out conventional warfare to its peak but also the emergence of nuclear weapons put humanity face to face with the devastating prospect of nuclear war. China is an important force in upholding world peace and promoting common development.
