Features: Confucius is a thinker who has been continuously discussed and studied from ancient times to the present, yet he is also a thinker who is difficult to definitively assess. The thoughts of children have influenced every aspect of Chinese culture, but it is hard to explain it clearly from any single perspective. Our research can only be about approaching the true Confucius. Because these statements, although attributed to the Master in various books, their direct documentary sources remain unclear. Therefore, this book still takes the Analects as the original text and uses it as the main basis for research. In addition, records from historical books have also been referenced. Some scholars even argue that, strictly speaking, even the last few chapters of the Analects cannot be considered as primary sources for studying Confucius. This is too strict. The figure of Confucius is difficult to write about and is most in need of research. Precisely for this reason, it is hoped that this book can serve as a pebble to stir the jade (a metaphor for sparking further discussion).
