Shenzhen, as one of China's most successful special economic zone cities, has provided many experiences for China's reform and opening-up during its 25-year development. As one of China's fastest-developing cities, Shenzhen has also encountered many problems that other domestic cities have not yet faced but will inevitably encounter. Together with Hong Kong and Macao, the Greater Bay Area in the Pearl River Delta region of China's inland is the fastest-developing and most significant area in terms of urbanization and industrialization in China and the world. It has been and will remain the core region for China's social and economic development, with its exemplary and driving role recognized globally. This report integrates the three different spatial scales of the regions mentioned above, raises and addresses issues from various perspectives, and attempts to form a systematic research outcome that solves major theoretical propositions and practical issues under a specific regional goal.
