Features: This dictionary includes over 18,000 entries, such as words, phrases, and idioms, primarily focused on daily-life vocabulary. The main text of the dictionary is arranged in the order of letters in the Chinese Pinyin scheme. Entries with the same pronunciation and tone are sorted by the number of strokes in the corresponding Chinese characters, with fewer strokes listed first. The dictionary contains five appendices. This dictionary adopts the stroke order method for character lookup. Specific lookup methods can be found in the "Stroke Order Lookup Table." Based on the practical needs of learning Chinese, we have marked some entries with common measure words; certain prefixes and suffixes are labeled with "head" or "tail," and most entries are annotated with part of speech. The parts of speech provided are for reference only. However, due to differences in language, the English translations of a small number of entries may not perfectly match their Chinese counterparts in terms of part of speech.
