How to treat uterine infertility

Patient's question:

A friend is suffering from uterine infertility. It is said that it is due to the thick uterine wall, apart from adhesions and the like.

Doctor's answer:

In a normal uterine cavity, the anterior and posterior walls come into contact and close under physiological conditions. Even during the menstrual period when the endometrium is shed, adhesions do not reappear, all thanks to the integrity and normal function of the endometrial basal layer. If the endometrium is damaged due to physical or chemical factors such as surgery or inflammation, leading to the destruction of the basal layer, it disrupts the regular growth and shedding of the endometrium during the normal menstrual cycle. This can cause fibrinogen to seep out and deposit in the interstitial tissue of the uterine cavity, resulting in adhesions between the anterior and posterior walls of the cavity.
