Yue Yu's Chinese Painting: Later Collection of Heavy Color. Tang Style

Author: Ye Yuzhong
Publisher:
Publish Date: 2002-02-01
Features: The previous edition was hastily published following the "Ye Yuzhong · Chinese Painting · Heavy Color Series · Tang Style Exhibition," jointly organized by the China National Art Museum and the China Artists Association in September 1993.
Exhibition Preface: Displaying the paintings as a response to friends. Not to portray Tang people, but to document the Tang style. The paintings can be viewed or not. Many works, even the main piece "Tang Style," were not included. "Tang Style" was a self-imposed imaginative exercise while painting "Tang Horse Polo Scene" in 1972. It should have been a grand project, requiring hundreds of pieces to fully showcase. By the time I recalled it, twenty-one years had passed. Today, the second edition is reprinted and revised, finally presenting the complete "Tang Style" as documented on that day.
