Features: This book can be used as a textbook or reference book for quantum mechanics for undergraduate physics majors and related disciplines. It systematically presents the fundamental knowledge of quantum mechanics. The book consists of ten chapters, covering topics such as the historical background of quantum mechanics, wave functions and the Schr?dinger equation, one-dimensional stationary problems, mechanical quantities and operators, representations, three-dimensional stationary problems, approximate equations, spin, identical particle systems and scattering. The book introduces the applications of quantum mechanics through numerous examples. At the end of each chapter, there are exercises. There are approximately 150 exercises in total throughout the book, most of which are taken from the entrance examination questions for master's degree candidates of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and well-known universities in the past decade.
