Features: With the rapid development of international wushu, higher requirements have been put forward for wushu competitions. For this purpose, the Chinese Wushu Association, under the commission of the International Wushu Federation, organized experts from some member associations to innovate new international wushu competition routines, including Changquan (Long Fist), Jianshu (Sword), Daoshu (Broad Sword), Gunshu (Cane), and Qiangshu (Pole Arms). After being reviewed by the Technical Committee of the International Wushu Federation and approved at the International Wushu Federation Representative Conference in Hong Kong in November 1999, these routines were established. The five published books of routines serve as a gift to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the founding of the International Wushu Federation. This book is one of them, introducing the movements of Gunshu to a through a combination of text and illustrations.
