Features: To learn from the past and prevent corruption, and to contribute to the construction of both material and spiritual civilizations, we have compiled this book. It consists of four parts: Anti-Corruption Arguments, Anti-Corruption Poems, Anti-Corruption Laws, and Anti-Corruption Stories.
Anti-Corruption Arguments: These are excerpts from over a hundred classics and thousands of articles, featuring famous quotes on anti-corruption. The selection aims to be concise, meaningful, and inspiring to future generations. The arrangement is based on the calligraphic order of the authors' surnames within major historical periods.
Anti-Corruption Poems: These are selected from thousands of ancient poems, with most composed by Tang Dynasty poets. All poems express hatred for greed, violence, extravagance, and corruption, as well as compassion for the poor and oppressed. The arrangement is based on the chronological order of the poems.
Anti-Corruption Laws: These are selected from legal codes of dynasties after the Tang Dynasty, as well as official and miscellaneous histories. The Tang Dynasty was chosen because it marked the formal establishment of detailed, reference-worthy written anti-corruption laws. The arrangement is based on the chronological order of the dynasties.
Anti-Corruption Stories: These are selected from thousands of biographies in official histories, featuring cases of officials fighting corruption. Most are about honest officials, with a small number of corrupt officials, but all corrupt officials listed met their downfall. The arrangement is based on the chronological order of the official histories.
