How to confirm that an ectopic pregnancy has passed

Patient's question:

Ectopic pregnancy with rupture for 54 days, hCG 389. The doctor said there is a mass, but it cannot be seen in the fallopian tube. How can I confirm if the ectopic pregnancy has dropped outside the uterus, or if it has dropped inside the uterus, or if it is still within the tubal mass? Currently, I am planning to do a blood test again in three days.

Doctor's answer:

Based on the situation you described, it is possible that you may have a chronic ectopic pregnancy. Due to the relatively large size of the mass, it is recommended that you avoid strenuous exercise, undergo a follow-up ultrasound and blood hCG test, and receive symptomatic treatment based on the situation. In fact, having an ectopic pregnancy is not something to be feared. Patients should believe that they can overcome the illness. As long as symptoms are detected early and symptomatic treatment is provided, the chances of alleviating the condition and recovering are very high.
