Features: Learning art requires a necessary understanding and mastery of the basic knowledge and techniques of color. Otherwise, the desire for beautiful artistic creation will be a mere fantasy. Most people believe that mastering color depends on talent and intuition, and there are two reasons for this: First, there is a lack of systematic understanding of color theory, or there is a preference for superficial styles, with more emphasis on technique than on principles. Second, the concept is still rooted in the education of color during art college entrance exams, with conceptualized and formulaic thinking and superficial approaches deeply ingrained. However, painting has never been a blind or unconscious process. Traditional Chinese painting theory has long had the saying, "Painting is rooted in the heart." Describing painting as a sequence of processes such as "concentrating the mind, focusing thoughts, observing with glances, and moving the wrist" explains that technical expression always depends on certain perceptions and ways of observing things. Modern psychological research tells us that only by perceiving in the right way can we grasp the "characteristics of the world and the scene." It is clear that the way in which perception is guided has a prerequisite and decisive significance for technical expression. Therefore, the author hopes that through this book, readers can understand and master the basic concepts and systems of color, the causes and phenomena of color, the specific application of color theory in painting, the evolution of different color theories and their aesthetic principles, and achieve mastery in both principles and techniques. Let the colorful world of vibrant hues be recognized, experienced, understood, and utilized by us.
