Features: This volume focuses on Enamel Porcelain and Famille Rose Porcelain, introducing their development and craftsmanship characteristics, and thereby addressing certain related issues. It includes a large collection of imperial kiln wares from the Beijing Palace Museum, many of which are newly disclosed. Enamel porcelain was originally a secret treasure of the imperial court and was rarely seen by the public in the past. Today, only a few institutions such as the Beijing Palace Museum, the Taipei Palace Museum, and the Shanghai Museum have relatively concentrated collections. As for Famille Rose porcelain, previous publications often emphasized the products of the Kangxi, Yongzheng, and Qianlong reigns, while giving less attention to those after the Jiaqing and Daoguang periods. This volume not only includes a large number of fine pieces from the Kangxi, Yongzheng, and Qianlong reigns but also selects collections from the imperial courts of subsequent Qing dynasties, providing readers with a comprehensive understanding of the development of Famille Rose porcelain during the Qing era.
