Features: To actively broaden the perspectives of management, research, design, construction, and manufacturing units within the power system engaged in grid construction, the State Grid Corporation of China actively promotes the adoption of mature, currently implemented, or potentially applicable new technologies in grid construction. This initiative aims to prepare for large-scale grid construction and ultra-high-voltage (UHV) grid construction, enhance the technical level of grid construction within the State Grid Corporation of China system, and foster collaboration. The State Grid Corporation of China, Infrastructure Department, jointly organized the State Grid Corporation of China Grid Construction New Technology Forum with the China Electric Power Engineering Consulting Group and the Transmission and Distribution Construction Technology Committee of the China Society of Electrical Engineering. From the collected expert reports, the State Grid Corporation of China, Infrastructure Department, selected 49 articles, including 20 on new designs, 20 on new processes, 5 on new equipment, and 4 on comprehensive topics. Each article selected for this book provides a detailed and comprehensive study of popular, pressing, or forward-looking issues in the current power system. Moreover, each article is highly practical and offers guidance for specific engineering projects. The technical content of the articles is exceptionally high, primarily authored by experts from provincial power design institutes, transmission and distribution companies, engineering companies, research institutions, and renowned enterprises across the country. This book is suitable for technical personnel engaged in grid construction management, research, design, construction, and manufacturing within the power system. It also serves to broaden the perspectives of undergraduate and postgraduate students and faculty in universities, helping them better understand the practical aspects of power system engineering.
