Features: The language of this play differs greatly from modern Italian in terms of grammar, vocabulary, and other aspects. There are many single words. Using the "Italian-Chinese Dictionary" in the translator's hands, the translator endeavors to provide the readers with a translation that is both faithful to the original work and easy to read. However, the former should clearly be given priority, because translation is a constrained task. Making Machiavelli speak Chinese is more important than letting the readers read what Machiavelli wrote.
