Features: This book is designed as a supplementary textbook for young students and American language enthusiasts to learn American English. With the enhancement of productivity, American society has become more vibrant, leading to the active nature of American English. Even conservative British English is undergoing revisions. Urban American English is an active language. Particularly, the spoken English of ordinary people. I have written "American Urban Language" instead of "Spoken English." American City is absolutely essential for communication among the general populace (including those who speak standard English from higher social strata), and there are very few reference books on this topic. The structure of this book is arranged as follows: Part of the book systematically lists situations people might encounter in daily interactions, introducing example sentences. I did not intend to present them as "models." I simply wanted to deepen the understanding of word usage. Considering various possible situations and occasions is for the purpose of enabling people to approach people from different countries in various settings of life, while also taking into account the customs and taboos of different nations, thus avoiding unnecessary misunderstandings. To ensure that readers can master greetings, introductions, etiquette, transportation, dining, job interviews, shopping, sports, travel, legal matters, finance, and business transactions, this book systematically provides vocabulary and example sentences for different occasions, along with relevant terminology.
