Patient's question:
I did a hydrotubation two days ago and have been experiencing bloating and pain. Is it possible that my fallopian tube is ruptured and bleeding?Previous Treatment and Results:
I have never had this procedure before. I had an abortion two months after getting pregnant five years ago, and then gave birth to a son. After three months, I had an IUD inserted. I don’t know if it was due to poor sterilization that I contracted an infection. After the inflammation was treated, I have not been able to conceive.

Is it possible that the fallopian tube is blocked when checked for inflammation?
Doctor's answer:
Secondary infertility is primarily considered to be caused by inflammation leading to fallopian tube blockage, so tubal patency testing should be performed within 3 to 7 days after the menstrual cycle ends.If adhesions are present in the fallopian tubes after the procedure, a small amount of bleeding may occur upon clearing them, which is exudation from the adhesive areas and is a normal phenomenon. Postoperatively, anti-inflammatory and anti-adhesion medications should be used to prevent the adhesive surfaces from re-fusing. Sexual activity is strictly prohibited for one month.
Fallopian tube disease is a common gynecological condition. During medication, women need to pay close attention to self-care, especially in terms of hygiene. It is recommended that patients maintain clean external genitalia and change underwear frequently. Finally, we wish all female patients a speedy recovery.
