Intermittent vaginal discharge, is it fallopian tube cancer?

Patient's question:

I got a gynecological disease two years ago, but it has improved after treatment and hasn't recurred. However, recently I've noticed intermittent vaginal discharge, with yellowish fluid and a slightly unpleasant odor. I'm wondering if it could be fallopian tube cancer. What should I do? I'm very anxious.

Doctor's answer:

The vagina frequently exhibits periodic discharge, with the liquid being yellow in color. This may be a sign of inflammation during the perinatal period, but it does not necessarily indicate fallopian tube cancer. It is recommended to undergo routine gynecological examinations, pelvic color Doppler ultrasound, and laboratory tests for secretions. If inflammation is present, antibiotics can be prescribed for active anti-inflammatory treatment. It is advisable to drink plenty of warm water, consume fresh vegetables, and avoid spicy and irritating foods. Regular follow-up examinations are recommended.
