Features: In this continuation of Shining Stars of Freedom – Biographies of World Jewish Cultural Figures, while maintaining the aforementioned characteristics, we focus on revealing the humanistic spirit that intellectuals should uphold from both positive and negative perspectives—just faith, social conscience, independent personality, rational critique, free spirit, universal love and tolerance, repentance and redemption, as well as integrity and self-discipline. We aim to provide references for elevating the humanistic qualities of Chinese intellectuals who are troubled by (frivolity and desire), and further promoting the transformation of Chinese civilization amid the tide of globalization. Mr. Yu Xiaoyu once said, "Civilization can be a decoration, but civilization has a final direction. It is this final direction that upholds humanity." Indeed, what we wish to explore in this continuation is precisely this final direction of civilization and the ultimate value of intellectuals as inheritors of civilization.
