Features: Stratigraphy is a new discipline and technology that developed in the 1980s. It is a science that comprehensively interprets the stratigraphic framework by integrating seismic, drilling, and outcrop data, combined with relevant sedimentary environments and lithofacies paleogeography. With the continuous development of stratigraphic research, a relatively independent branch discipline has gradually formed. This book is divided into three parts: Part 1: Principles of Stratigraphy, which primarily introduces the basic concepts and terminology of stratigraphy, as well as the formation mechanisms of its various units. Part 2 mainly introduces the views and research content of different schools, such as genetic stratigraphy, tectonic stratigraphy, T-R stratigraphy, and high-resolution stratigraphy. Part 3: Continental Stratigraphy, which primarily introduces the research foundation of continental lake basin stratigraphy, the stratigraphic development patterns and the division characteristics of systems tracts in continental lake basins, thrust-fold basins, foreland basins, and alluvial environments.
