Features: In the traditional sense, "thinking" is about memorizing information for later recall, and this concept has shaped our school education. However, with so many electronic devices and online tools available today to help find information, we urgently need to develop new ways of thinking. Teach Children to Think helps children master thinking skills, enabling them to move beyond simple knowledge memorization and develop the ability to connect ideas, make judgments, and embrace creativity. The book offers over 200 exercises that cover a wide range of topics and are highly engaging, suitable for children aged 6–15. Through these exercises, students will develop:
- The ability to manage and organize their brains
- Analytical thinking skills
- Critical thinking skills
- Creative thinking skills
The answers are included at the back of the book but are meant only as a reference. Feel free to let children unleash their creativity.
Thinking is Gold
Recently, at the summary and awards ceremony of the "National Century Cultural Reading Activity," a seasoned education expert shared a "joke" that made him unable to laugh. In an international school, the teacher asked students from various countries, "Has anyone thought about the food shortages in other countries in the world?" All the students replied, "No." The African students didn’t know what "food" meant; the European students didn’t know what "shortage" meant; the American students didn’t know what "other countries" meant; and the Chinese students didn’t know what "thinking" meant.
This "joke" that’s hard to laugh at indeed deserves deep reflection.
