Level 7 (1) Basic Exercises
The scope of basic exercises in this level consists of ten groups:
C Major, Minor; G Major, Minor; F Major, d Minor; D Major, b Minor; bB Major, Minor; A Major, f Minor; bE Major, Minor; E Major, Minor; bA Major, f Minor; B Major, Minor.
Each group includes:
1. Scales: Three octaves, both hands in the same direction, followed by a cadence after the scale.
2. Arpeggios: Broken principal triads, three octaves.
3. Chords: Principal triads in root position and inversions, three octaves.
4. Major Scales: Play the dominant seventh chord's broken arpeggio; Minor Scales: Play the diminished leading-tone seventh chord's broken arpeggio.
(2) Sight-Reading
Read and play the music from measures 16 to 48.
Scope of content: C Major, Minor; G Major, Minor; F Major, d Minor; Time signatures.
After observing the score for two minutes, select your own tone color, rhythm, and tempo, and play using multi-finger chords.
(3) Examination Requirements
Basic exercises will be randomly selected from one group.
Sight-reading: One piece
Piano piece: One piece
Electronic piano pieces: Three pieces (selected by the candidate).
The automatic accompaniment for electronic piano pieces must be played using multi-finger chords.
All performances must be memorized.

C Major, a Minor; G Major, e Minor; F Major, d Minor; D Major, b Minor (same as the basic exercise examples in Level 3).
B Major, g Minor (same as the basic exercise examples in Level 4).
A Major, #f Minor; E Major, c Minor (same as the basic exercise examples in Level 5).
E Major, #c Minor; A Major, f Minor (same as the basic exercise examples in Level 6).
The dominant seventh chord's broken arpeggio and the diminished leading-tone seventh chord's broken arpeggio for the major and minor scales mentioned above are included in Level 7.
