Features: `Glorious antique charm, elegant purple clay teapot—The Meao teapot is not only a refined decor in a study but also a highly practical tea container. My greatest hobby is collecting purple clay teapots. I dislike overly ornate and pretentious "flowered" designs, preferring instead simple yet practical works crafted by masters with exquisite craftsmanship. Over the past few years, I have managed to collect some rare and exceptional pieces.
In China, there's a popular office custom: drinking tea in the office or at other workplaces. If you pay attention to your colleagues, you'll notice people use various containers to drink tea. Ladies often use delicate glass jars to steep a few tender green buds with half a cup of water, and the tea liquor is emerald green and crystal clear, looking refreshingly crisp. Men, on the other hand, tend to use large coffee mugs, filling them with a handful of scented tea and pouring boiling water—calling it a "tea furnace." However, regardless of what they drink, their tea cups are always clean and transparent. My only shame is that I'm always so busy—before long, tea stains gradually accumulate on my cups, making them look rather unattractive.
