What medicine is good for treating fungal vulvitis

Patient's question:

I have a moldy vulvitis, what medicine should I take, what topical medicine should I apply, and what medicine should I use to wash with?

Doctor's answer:

Vaginal candidiasis can be treated by scrubbing the external genitalia and vagina with alkaline solutions such as 2, 4% sodium bicarbonate or soapy water, which alters the vaginal pH to favor the growth of fungi. After scrubbing, insert miconazole tablets or suppositories into the vagina, with a dosage of 100,000 or 200,000 units each time, once nightly, for a course of 10 or 14 days. Additionally, apply 3% miconazole cream to the external genitalia for better results. For persistent cases, oral fluconazole can be taken at a dose of 150 mg once daily for three consecutive days. During treatment, sexual intercourse should be avoided, and underwear should be changed daily, washed thoroughly, and boiled to sterilize.
