The "Cayenne Crow Series" is an important collaboration project between the 21st Century Publishing House and the German Youth Literature Research Institute. The works are selected and recommended by the authoritative of the German Youth Literature Award, and the 21st Century Publishing House is responsible for organizing the translation and publication. The name "Cayenne Crow" for the series symbolizes the rich diversity of world cultures and the colorful styles of the works. Dr. Kurt Franz, President of the German Youth Literature Research Institute, who specially came to China for the series events, said: "This series combines both fantasy and realistic themes, which are extremely familiar and beloved by German youth. Some of these works have even been included in German primary and secondary school textbooks or supplementary materials. It serves as a cross-section, allowing a broad audience in China to gain a profile impression of German youth literature through this series. Dr. Franz highly appreciates and endorses the understanding of the works and the meticulous design and production of the books by the 21st Century Publishing House during the translation and publication of this series. The series has already published sixteen books, marking the first large-scale collection of contemporary outstanding children's literature from German-speaking countries in China. It includes works such as 'The Secret of Lanhe' by fantasy master Michael Ende, 'The Little Witch,' 'The Little Ghost,' and 'The Little Pixie' by German literary giant Otfried Preu?ler, as well as 'Me and My Little Sister Clara,' hailed as 'a classic of modern children's literature depicting the innocence and charm of childhood,' and 'Bella and Anna,' a novel that deeply touches young readers from different countries and reflects on the issue of childhood love. Compared to other imported children's books, this series stands out for its diverse forms, wide-ranging themes, engaging content, refined taste, and close connection to children. Its publication has brought Chinese young readers an extraordinary reading experience, while also providing critics and children's literature writers with a valuable sample for discussion, reference, and inspiration to appreciate the classics. It is reported that seven books from the 'Cayenne Crow Series' were published in two batches in advance and have continuously been included in the recommended reading lists for primary and secondary school libraries (rooms) in 2003-2004 and have all been selected for the Knowledge Project in 2004. At one hundred and twenty-seven years old, a witch is still considered a little witch. This little witch was severely punished for sneaking into the Booklovers' Ball, a gathering exclusively for witches, and decided to become a good witch as the witch leader demanded. The little witch diligently performed many good deeds, but this did not bring her good fortune, as in the eyes of the witches, a good witch is the last to become a bad witch. The bonfire on Booklovers' Mountain was lit, but it burned the broom and magic book gathered by the little witch's wisdom and magic. The little witch and her crow companion danced around the bonfire with joy.
