The little ghost who lived in the castle belonged to the night. Every midnight at twelve, he would wake up and patrol the castle with a keychain hanging thirteen keys. Sometimes, he would sit on the branch of an hollow oak tree, telling stories with his old friend, the owl, taking turns. But the little ghost was so eager to wake up during the day. One day, his wish miraculously came true. He saw the colorful world of the daytime, but the sun's light turned him into a shadow. His appearance caused much trouble and chaos, and the little ghost grew to miss the carefree days of the past.
Finally, with the help of his friends and three children, he opened his eyes at midnight twelve. Silver moonlight fell upon him, turning him as white as snow once again.
