Features: To facilitate self-study for learners, we have compiled a companion volume, "New Cambridge Vocational English (2): Study Guide," which focuses on the following points during its creation:
1. Faithfulness to the original work without arbitrary additions. In line with learners' needs, all question requirements and texts in the book have been translated into Chinese.
2. Annotations have been added to each lesson and audio script. In addition to explaining difficulties and key points, cultural background knowledge relevant to each unit has been included to help learners understand differences between cultures and overcome the weaknesses of Chinese thinking in English expression. Writing sections have been supplemented with writing prompts to provide learners with specific guidance, along with additional auxiliary expressions as needed.
3. Principles, techniques for business activities, and email writing rules have been added.
4. To align with the BOS examination, we have analyzed sample questions from the BOS examination, including the reading and general knowledge sections, to help candidates understand the content and question types of the exam.
5. This book also includes simulated test questions such as listening, vocabulary, reading, or fill-in-the-blanks after each unit, corresponding to BOS examination formats. These exercises aim to deepen learners' understanding and mastery of the material, as well as provide insight into the types and difficulty levels of the BOS examination.
