The land here is vast, with unique and ever-changing natural scenery. It boasts the world's highest peak Mount Everest and the world's highest-altitude lake Namtso, as well as the boundless Taklamakan Desert and vast primeval forests covered in lush greenery. The Loess Plateau is dotted with flowers, and the grasslands are dotted with herds of cattle and sheep. The two mother rivers of China—Yangtze River and Yellow River—both originate here. The diverse topography, vastly different climate characteristics, and the rich lifestyles of the various ethnic groups living in the western region together form a unique and magical landscape. Renowned landscape photographer Mr. Wang Jianjun has, over the past decade, captured numerous captivating images of the western region, showcasing its rugged and magical grandeur, portraying its beautiful mountains and clear waters, and leading people step by step into the sublime realm of harmony between heaven and humanity. The first time we saw Mr. Wang Jianjun's photographs, we were instantly inspired with a strong desire to travel to the western region.
