Features: The offering of information technology courses in universities has become very common, but there is a significant lack of excellent learning guides. Due to the rapid updates of information technology course content and the wide range of knowledge points involved, systematically organizing and connecting these points, along with reinforcing understanding through hands-on exercises, can greatly benefit students. This series of books is organized based on these considerations.
1. Flexible and Widely Applicable. Most existing guides are written for specific textbooks, making them inconvenient to use. This series is designed for "courses" rather than specific "textbooks," allowing it to be used independently of any particular textbook.
2. Comprehensive and Rich in Knowledge. This series aims to provide a wealth of knowledge points, covering several widely used excellent textbooks in China while also meeting the requirements of the "2002 Curriculum for Computer Science and Technology in China."
3. Integrated Learning and Practice for Greater Efficiency. The content structure of this series is "Difficult Points + Examples + Exercises + Test Papers." After helping readers review and master the main knowledge points of the course, the practice exercises and algorithm design questions in each chapter further reinforce learning, and the use of simulated test papers solidifies the learning outcomes.
This book is a supplementary textbook written in accordance with the undergraduate teaching syllabus to support teaching in "Data Structures" courses at various levels of schools. Considering the needs of information majors for postgraduate entrance exams and the practical requirements of candidates for the Software Level Examination, High-Tech Examination, and National Computer Rank Examination (Levels 3 and 4), the content selection balances breadth and depth.
The book is divided into eleven chapters, including Introduction, Linear Lists, Stacks and Queues, Strings, Arrays and Generalized Lists, Trees, Graphs, Searching, Sorting, Files, and a Simulated Test Paper. The first ten chapters summarize the main content and knowledge points, followed by basic review questions to consolidate understanding, as well as application problems, algorithm design questions, and hands-on practice exercises to enhance learning. The final chapter, the simulated test paper, includes solutions or answers to some of the questions.
The book is rich in content, diverse in question types, broad in scope, and highly practical, closely aligning with the main content of the "Data Structures" course. It is a distillation of the authors' two decades of teaching experience and insights in teaching "Data Structures." It meets the learning needs of current students and the exam preparation needs of candidates at all levels, as well as serving as a reference for university teachers and other professionals.
