What should be done about cervical hypertrophy!

Patient's question:

I have had gynecological inflammation for several years, and it keeps recurring sometimes getting better and sometimes flaring up. Today, after a thorough examination, the doctor said I have cervical hypertrophy and candidal vaginitis. She mentioned that the cervical hypertrophy will not improve.
Medical history and treatment effectiveness:
Hello, what medication should I take for cervical hypertrophy, and how should it be treated? Is it true that, as the doctor said, it will not shrink?
Type of help needed:
Please advise on how I should be treated.

Doctor's answer:

Cervical hyperplasia is caused by long-term stimulation of chronic cervical inflammation, leading to peeling and edema of cervical tissue, as well as fibrosis of glands and stroma. Since the cervical tissue has undergone pathological changes again, it generally does not return to its original size completely. As cervical hyperplasia has little impact on health and does not cause discomfort symptoms, treatment is not necessary when there are no symptoms.
Advice: For candidiasis (yeast infection), active symptomatic treatment is required. Otherwise, it can lead to cervical inflammation or worsen cervical hyperplasia. Under the guidance of a doctor, nystatin or miconazole nitrate vaginal suppositories can be used for treatment. Before inserting the suppositories, the vagina can be washed with a 2%-4% baking soda solution. During treatment, sexual activity must be strictly prohibited, and underwear should be changed frequently.
