The book contains approximately 50,000 words, organized chronologically with events and figures as the threads. It includes about 400 images that closely correspond to the content described in the text. At the beginning and end of the book, there are two poems: "Nostalgia" by Yu Guangzhong and "Gazing at My Homeland" by Yu Youren.
