Features: This book is compiled based on the "Physics Teaching Syllabus" and "Electrical Engineering Teaching Syllabus" issued by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security of the People's Republic of China. The book is divided into two parts. The first part, "Physics," includes the following content: motion of objects, force and torque, Newton's laws of motion, work and energy, vibration and waves, and basic knowledge of thermodynamics. The second part, "Electrical Engineering," includes the following content: direct current circuits, magnetism and electromagnetism, alternating current circuits, transformers and motors, basic control of three-phase squirrel cage asynchronous motors, safety in electrical use, and basic electronic technology. During the writing process, special consideration was given to the current knowledge level of students, with an effort to reduce the difficulty of theoretical knowledge, emphasize practicality and hands-on skills, and focus on cultivating students' learning abilities as well as their ability to analyze and solve problems. The book features an innovative content arrangement, concise and easy-to-understand language, and is richly illustrated with diagrams and images. Each chapter also includes a sufficient number of review questions and exercises, along with appropriately arranged physical experiments and electrical engineering experiments. This book can serve as a teaching material for non-electrical major students in secondary vocational and technical schools and vocational colleges, as well as a training and self-study resource for technical workers.
