Features: This textbook is introduced to peers engaged in ethnic vocal music teaching, as well as students and enthusiasts learning ethnic vocal music, for reference and use in teaching and performance, in order to better promote teaching, facilitate mutual exchange, continuous improvement, and collective advancement. During the publication process of this textbook, the People's Music Publishing House has done a great deal of work. Some new works were even arranged with piano accompaniment by composers from the Central Conservatory of Music, the China Conservatory of Music, and the Music Department of the Central University for Nationalities. Establishing a set of Chinese ethnic vocal music textbooks that embody national, artistic, contemporary, and systematic characteristics is a glorious mission and responsibility for those engaged in ethnic vocal music work. In the future, we will do our utmost to create conditions and continue to compile textbooks in various forms, particularly strengthening the development of new textbooks. We will pay attention to aligning classroom teaching materials with practical performance repertoire, integrating classroom learning with artistic practice. The Chinese Ethnic Vocal Music Textbook is divided into three volumes, with main content including: classical Chinese poetry songs, traditional folk songs, folk song arrangements, composed songs, selections from Chinese operas, and film and television theme songs.
