Patient's question:
Whole right leg hurts, it's the nerves above that hurt, hurts so much that I can't sleep, walking was initially limping, but after my own exercise, it doesn't hurt as much as before. Post-caesarean treatment and effectiveness: This morning after acupuncture and moxibustion, it still hurts. How should it be treated?Doctor's answer:
If it's neural, there's a higher likelihood of sciatica. Sciatica refers to pain along the sciatic nerve pathway and within the areas it innervates (buttocks, back of the thigh, lateral back of the calf, and outer side of the foot). During acute pain, avoid lifting heavy objects and refrain from using your legs, arms, or back to lift things. You can push but don't pull heavy objects. To prevent stretching the sciatic nerve and reduce pain, sufferers often adopt special pain-relieving postures, such as sleeping on the healthy side and slightly bending the hip and knee joints of the affected leg.
