How great is the chance of ectopic pregnancy?

Patient's question:

Doctor, hello. I had my period on September 30th and it lasted for 4 days with very little flow. On October 28th, I started to notice some bleeding and the discharge on the pads turned black or coffee-colored, which lasted for 10 days. I suspected something was wrong and went to the hospital for a blood HCG test. The result was 390, but the ultrasound showed no signs of pregnancy and no obvious masses on both sides. The doctor said the possibility of an ectopic pregnancy is very high.
History of previous treatment and effectiveness:
I had an ectopic pregnancy in March of this year, which required the removal of my right fallopian tube. In June, I had an X-ray, and everything was normal. The doctor said it was open and I could get pregnant.
What kind of help do you want:
I am very upset. Could this be ectopic pregnancy again? How likely is ectopic pregnancy? As an unmarried woman who wants to have children, I am very worried.

Doctor's answer:

Ectopic pregnancy refers to a condition where a fertilized egg implants outside the uterine cavity. Ectopic pregnancy usually reappears with symptoms around weeks 6-7 of pregnancy and is diagnosed by a doctor. However, you may notice some signs of ectopic pregnancy as early as week 4 of pregnancy. Some people may not experience any symptoms after becoming pregnant, but discover they have an ectopic pregnancy during their first ultrasound examination in the early stages of pregnancy. Currently, ectopic pregnancy cannot be ruled out, and HCG levels are currently high. Close monitoring is recommended. It is suggested to undergo a period of treatment with traditional Chinese medicine. In fact, having an ectopic pregnancy is not something to be afraid of. Patients should believe that they can overcome the illness. As long as symptoms are detected early and treatment is administered accordingly, the chances of controlling the condition and recovering are very high.
