Can colposcopy detect pelvic effusion?

Patient's question:

During the early days of pregnancy, pelvic fluid was detected. In the past few days, ultrasound has shown everything to be normal. What could be the reason?
No history of treatment and its effects: None

Doctor's answer:

Pelvic effusion can be physiological or pathological. Physiological pelvic effusion occurs because the pelvic cavity is the lowest part of the abdominal cavity in the body. When there is exudate or leakage, it drains into the pelvic cavity, forming pelvic effusion. In some normal women, a small amount of blood may accumulate in the pelvic cavity during the menstrual period or ovulation, constituting pelvic effusion. Pathological pelvic effusion is mostly caused by inflammation in clinical diagnosis.
Advice: Based on your condition, it should be physiological effusion. There is a normal ovulation period. As long as there is no inflammation, it does not need to be concerned about. Since you are already pregnant, you should enhance nutrition, maintain a balanced diet, and prevent various types of infections (such as colds, nausea, and vomiting).
