Sports Injury Examination Method

Publish Date: 1999-08-01
Features: This book compiles classic and special examination methods for sports injuries and orthopedics both domestically and internationally. It particularly focuses on the examination of minor injuries, many of which are examination techniques summarized from the author's own experience and designed by him. For example, the patellar resistance test can effectively diagnose patellofemoral pain syndrome, enabling early diagnosis of trochlear chondromalacia, even earlier than MRI. This holds significance for the prevention and treatment of sports injuries and the arrangement of training schedules. To facilitate the evaluation of injury and postoperative examination results, as well as functional conditions, and to allow for comparison with domestic and international literature reports under unified standards, Dr. Cui Guoqing from our institution has excerpted commonly used functional scoring systems and standards from abroad and included them in the appendix of this book for reference. For foreign examination methods, the book attempts to rename them based on their characteristics to make them easier to understand and remember, while also including the original names where possible.
