Is it possible to treat non-specific vulvitis?

Patient's question:

My wife told me today that she has a very itchy sensation down there, and I'm worried she might have some kind of illness. So I quickly took her to the hospital to get a consultation and treatment. The doctor said it's non-specific vulvitis, but I don't really understand what that is. So I want to ask if there's a chance of curing non-specific vulvitis? And what are the approximate treatment costs?

Doctor's answer:

Non-specific vulvitis is caused by frequent irritation of the vulvar area and surrounding skin and mucous membranes by urine and menstrual blood. In treatment, first rule out blood sugar issues. If blood sugar is normal, you can soak in potassium permanganate solution (the color should be similar to that of water with soaked vegetables, not too concentrated), clean twice a day, and if the skin and mucous membranes change again, you can use erythromycin ointment externally. For severe redness and swelling, red light therapy can be used. Pay attention to personal hygiene, avoid tight clothing, and maintain dryness and ventilation of the area to prevent recurrence.
